15 Cozy Bonfire-Inspired Niche Fragrances for Fall

On October 24th, Merz Apothecary hosted our Fall Fragrance event, a laid-back get-together for fans of niche fragrances and autumnal scents. There were cocktails, snacks, and–of course–an awesome selection of indie scents. The theme of the evening was “Elements of Fire,” celebrating all the things that work together to make bonfires such a warm and welcoming fall tradition.

Our three fragrance associates worked together to create a narrative that speaks to all the elements of a flame. If you weren’t able to attend in person, what follows is a virtual walkthrough of the event, so you can follow along at home. And don’t forget that Smallflower offers a sample program, so if one of the scents below strikes your fancy, you can test it out before ordering a full size! You can find more information here →

“Golden Chypre is great because it has this really cool, retro feeling, but with a modern freshness. The note Chypre was created by the perfumer François Coty in the 1920’s, and it always dries down to a spicy, warm musk. It’s like putting on your favorite fall sweater.”
